The Amazing Mr. Slomo walks along at a fraction of the speed of normal life. With his elegant suit and transparent briefcase, he looks like a businessman who just stepped out of the Twilight Zone. People do double takes and gawk at the apparition. Suddenly there's a brilliant flash of light, and Mr. Slomo pulls a silver dollar out of the air and begins rolling it around his fingers-the same move he taught Johnny Depp for Pirates of the Caribbean. A crowd gathers around, and Mr. Slomo draws them into his impromptu theatre of illusion. Performing in total silence Mr. Slomo proves that the hand is quicker than the eye, leaving onlookers gasping at his dazzling display of world-class sleight-of-hand magic. Then, just as suddenly, there's another flash of light, and Mr. Slomo courteously tips his hat and moves on.
