95 East Third Street
Presented By: Mansfield Playhouse
A Christmas favorite, this is the story of the Spencer family during the Great Depression. Written by Earl Hamner, it was the basis for his popular television series “The Waltons.” Along with the family living on Spencer’s Mountain, you’ll meet their friends and neighbors, including the delightful “recipe ladies”. Join Ma and the kids as they pray for Pa’s safe return and a Christmas Eve reunion.
In keeping with the Depression-era theme of the production, the Playhouse is conducting a food drive to benefit local food pantries. Anyone bringing a non-perishable food item when coming to see the show will receive a free raffle ticket. A gift certificate for Kroger is the raffle prize.
