Black History Month 2015 "The Story of Us" Series

The Ohio State University at Mansfield, North Central State College, and the Diversity & Social Justice Council: NC State plan to honor Black History Month through presentations from noted university professors, workshops, and culminate with the 14th Annual Soul Food Dinner.
All events open to the public.

The third event of the "Story of Us" series is titled
Race Still Matter: Part 1: Who Owns Responsibility for Student Empowerment?

The two-part Call to Action: Town Hall Series challenges participants to learn how race still matters. The conversation begins on the Mansfield campus to focus on the important role students can play in social issues.  The moderator for this session is Austin McCoy, co-founder of the United Coalition for Racial Justice.
