Presented By: Renaissance Theatre
A thrilling combination of traditional Irish music, dance and storytelling. A one-of-a-kind entertainment for the Irish in all of us. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!
Tomáseen Foley's Irish Times brings to exhilarating life the joyous memory of the traditional céilí gatherings at weddings, wakes, and solstice celebrations, when the neighbors would bring their instruments with them - uilleann pipes, fiddles, bodhráns, tin whistles and flutes, for an evening of fiery music, stirring ballads, foot-stomping traditional dances, and - of course, stories - from the man who has been called Ireland's Garrison Keilor and a master of the Irish narrative, Tomáseen Foley. Rekindle the flame in the hearth with stories, music, song and dance from the rich treasury of Ireland's cultural heritage native Irish storyteller Tomáseen Foley and some of the most gifted Celtic musicians, dancers and singers performing anywhere today, on either side of the Atlantic.
