Dragonflies & Damselflies
Tuesday, July 21, 2015
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Presented By: Gorman Nature Center
On July 21st, we will once again discover flying and swimming dragonflies and damselflies with the authors of “Dragonflies and Damselflies of Northeast Ohio,” Larry Rosche and Judy Semroc. We are excited to see what discoveries await us! We will explore some different habitats this time around, but there will be time for a stop by the big pond, too. This program will be ongoing into the afternoon. You may leave the group at any time. Feel free to bring a packed lunch. Come see the amazing diversity of these insects at GNC, including jewelwings, spreadwings, damsels, dancers, bluets, forktails, darners, clubtails, spiketails, pennants, pondhawks, dashers, amberwings, whitetails, saddlebags, skimmers, baskettails, meadowhawks and more! Judy and Larry will also have copies of their field guide that you can purchase and get autographed! Don’t miss out on this exciting program!
