Spring Dance Recital - Richland Academy

The dances will take you on a journey through a Danceussical Land of “Things”, “Elephants”, “Turtles”, “Eggs and Ham”, and of course there will be a visit from “Cats in Hats” and “Green, Grouchy, Monsters” galore. Also featured will be a few not so familiar Danceussical characters. In honor of Mansfield’s Bicentennial, several dances have been choreographed and include Vasbinder Fountain, Mansfield Reformatory, Mansfield Motorsport Speedway, and a spiritual dance tribute in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Memorial.  The show features over 160 dancers, 4 years of age and up performing a variety of dance forms including ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, hip-hop and tap. Walnut St. at the corner of 4th and Walnut St. in the downtown Carrousel District. Limited tickets will be available at Mansfield Senior High School Auditorium at the time of the performance. The Danceussical Celebration is open to the general public and will be performed at Mansfield Sr. H.S., 124 N. Linden Rd., Mansfield.
