A recent visit to Kingwood Center with my grandkids and great-niece. We live just north of Columbus but visit family in Mansfield several times a year. Always a good time!

My great-niece and great-nephew visited from Kentucky and we spent a nice day with them in Mansfield, visiting relatives. So much fun stuff to do, even on a rainy day.

My daughter and I took her kids and my great-niece and nephew to Mansfield to visit some other family members. We went to the Carousel Park and Chuck E. Cheese, among other places. We all had a really good time.

We took my 4 and 6 year old cousins to Chuck E Cheese in Mansfield while they were up for a visit from Kentucky. They don't have anything like it where they live and LOVED it!!

My 4 and 6 year old cousins came up from Kentucky to visit for a week. We planned a day full of activities in Mansfield, to visit with our family members that lived there. We started at the Carousel park, went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch, then to see Toy Story 3. The kids enjoyed the day very much!

Feeding the ducks in Kingwood Center was a blast. I came with a lot of friends and we had a competition to see how many ducks we could feed over pigeons, becuase the pigeons kept trying to eat all of the food. It was actually really amusing and a ton of fun!

The carousal in downtown Mansfield was so much fun. It reminded me of going on carousals when I was a child. It is always great to relive childhood memories. Thank you Mansfield for allowing me of that pleasure.

As a resident of Richland county, I often find interesting things around. One such thing is the Carosel with hand carved horses made in Mansfield.

While a friend was visiting Mansfield, we took her to Coney Island for the best coney ever, and then took a walk around Kingwood Center! It was a great day in Mansfield!

My husband and I took a day to explore Malabar Farm. I had not been there in quite a while. It was wonderful to share that day at the farm. We took a tour of the home and walked around the farm. The history in the house alone is just amazing!! The Richland Co. Master Gardners did a wonderful job around the home with lovely flowers and plants. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

We visited Mansfield during our kids' school spring break in April. It was a nice day to be outdoors so we decided to head to the Bird Sanctuary and Kingwood Center. We visit Kingwood at least once every year. Even though the plants weren't grown in yet, we still had a nice time. A goal with every visit to Kingwood is to see one of the peacocks. On this visit, my daughter and her friend coaxed the peacock with food until it was almost eating out of their hand. It may have, but they got spooked when it got too close. This was our first visit to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. We really enjoyed our visit there, too. We finished up our day with a picnic at a local park where the kids ate lunch and played while adults sat and visited with family in the area.

Richmond county is such an amazing and beautiful area. Our family was there in mid-April but the OSR was still closed. I cannot wait to go back! So many great pictures to choose from.

We visited the OSR. I\'d always wanted to see the place where my favoite movie, The Shawshank Redemption, was filmed. It was really an awesome tour!
