I just completed my training to teach the LesMills fitness class CX-30/CXworks. Hovering is one of the moves during a track in the class. This summer to train for the class I have been hovering during my vacations. This week while visiting Mansfield for the NASA Nationals at Mid-Ohio, NASA visited the Ohio State Reformatory. In this picture I am hovering before my tour of the old jail.

Every year our grandkids visit from Las Vegas and always request to go horseback riding at Equestrian Valley Farms. The trails wind through the woods and we usually see at least one deer. It's a wonderful place for horseback riding for all ages.

Enjoying Shiloh and the annual ox roast. Shiloh is a beautiful small town. Loved the antique John Deere tractors and the food, the roasted corn on the cob was outstanding! A definite recommendation for all!

I\'ve been wanting to go to the Mansfield Reformatory since we moved to Ohio in Nov 2010. My husband finally took his son and I while he was visiting us, after the July 4th weekend and it was everything I was expecting it to be and more. I can\'t wait to go back! What an awesome experience!! I would love to go to one of the ghost tours some day!

One of my family's favorite activities is to visit our feathered friends at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. Pictured is one of the many hand-fed birds that can be encountered on the premises.

My wife and I spent two days in Mansfield and tours of the OSR and Malabar Farms were on the top of our list! We had a fun time at Ohio State Reformatory viewing the prison cells and seeing where the movies Shawshank Redemption and Air Force One were filmed. Very interesting facts!! I have to admit I enjoyed the tour of Malabar Farms and learning the history of Louis Bromfield was much more fascinating for me and I have to acknowledge the terrific and learned guide we had from the Ohio Parks Department. Both of these tours should be a must see on any trip to Mansfield. Great for kids and adults at very reasonable cost.

We have had a wonderful time in Mansfield checking out the Shawshank Trail. So many friendly people (you know who you are) have helped us along the way find trail locations, restaurants, hotels, you name it! Thanks everyone! We look forward to coming back and exploring more of the lovely town of Mansfield!

We first heard about mansfield, when driving back home from our honeymoon. And since then we have had two kids and desided to share the wonderful experience with them. We stayed at the Comfort Inn/ splash harbor. Then we went downtown to check out the Carrousel Park. Our kids loved it! And everyone is so friendly and kind. Thank-you Mansfield!

We enjoyed a dinner of gourmet pizza on the brick patio of Martini's. It was such a beautiful setting. We felt as if we could have been sitting in a European city spot. What a fabulous setting. It is a must visit. The setting is beautiful, the pizza was fabulous and the service was excellent.

We were in Mansfield June 5. Enjoyed lunch, coffee and pie at Blossoms Cafe (The Blueberry Patch) and then strolled around the Carrousel District. We watched kids riding the carousel, browsed through the museum and enjoyed the architecture of a couple of the downtown churches. The picture shows my wife and brother-in-law with Elektro at the Mansfield Memorial Museum.

Hubby and I needed a weekend away and decided to check out Mansfield. We stayed the night at a local hotel and decided to explore the area. We found the Coney Island Diner and had a wonderful lunch of coney dogs and french fries. Yum! A ride on the carrousel really made the day fun too! What a fun day in Mansfield! Can't wait to go back!

Spent the day in the Mansfield area with my mom for Mother's Day. We had a very yummy lunch at Blossoms Cafe at the Blueberry Patch. We stopped at a couple antique shops. We visited Carrousel Park - then was fortunate to visit Carrousel Works during their very rare open house. It was a fabulous experience to see all the work that goes into making as well as refurbishing carrousel figures. And there was so much more for us to see, but we just ran out of time! We'll be back!
