Experience America's most famous farm, the 900 acre country estate of Pulitzer Prize winning author, farmer and conservationist Louis Bromfield. Our new Visitor Center if full of interactive displays, and home of Malabar Gift/Book Shop featuring unique Ohio-made items, Bromfield's books, farm fresh products, and our own homemade fudge. Walk through the petting barn, ride a farm wagon and tour the home where Hollywood stars Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married. Stop at the Roadside Farm Market for some fine produce or dine at the Malabar Farm Restaurant featuring delicious meals prepared with a Parisian influence in an upscale yet comfortable setting.

Malabar Farm offers family friendly events and workshops throughout the year, including the Malabar Farm Maple Festival held each March. Children of all ages can experience life on a farm by participating in chores and seeing how old fashioned maple syrup is made.

Admission: House Admission: $4.00 adults, $2.00 children (6-18), $3.60 Seniors (55+), under 6 free. Credit Cards: MC, Visa, AMEX, Discover.  Hours: House Tours: Jan-Apr; Call for hours. May 1-Memorial Day; Tues-Sat 10am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm. Closed Holidays. Memorial day (including Memorial Day) through Labor DAy (Including Labor Day) Open Everyday; 10am-5pm. House tours on all open days are at 12pm, 2pm, &4pm. Wagon Tours May-Labor Day; Thursday- Monday at 1PM & 3PM, weather permitting. Open through October, Tuesdays through Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm, closed Mondays. October house tours at 12pm, 2pm, & 4pm. Saturdays, continuous hayrides; noon-8pm. October Sundays-Wagon tours at 1PM &3PM, weather permitting. Open on weekends only in November and December. 11AM-5PM Saturdays, 12PM-5PM Sundays.  No Wagon Tours November-April

I love the farmlife and the history of Louis Bromfield! Great for kids and also has GREAT walking trails with a cave!

Fantastic history. Fantastic park. The naturalist led wagon and house tour was absolutely wonderful. His helpfulness, personal interaction and information helped make our family vacation a very enjoyable experience.
