Miss Ohio Pageant & Festival

Doesnt the festival being downtown, help your business? I am new to Mansfield, My family and I moved from Florida to Ohio in Feb. 2011 and when we went to the Festival, we checked everything out "downtown"

its great to have the "Miss Ohio" family in Mansfield...But it would be better if people come downtown more often then once a year.As a business owner,its hurts my business.Not only do you take our parling but with the roads are closed..the day before the event..I call the Miss Ohio Festival coordinator, mr jeff Angelini.. to make sure that i knew what roads were to be closed or blocked off...In the passes years we hear from our clients were that it wouldn't be bad if the streets would have Detoured signs...I called Thursday, he informed me that the signs were up. Came to work Friday,signs were NOT up. I called him again, he also informed me that he would called to see if they were posted..he called me and told me that they were posted...i came into work on Sat, and there AGAIN were no signs..I was not a happy camper..Think about this...If our clients cant come to our business, we make no money..if we make no money we cant pay our bill or our taxes..and if we can't pay our taxes, we will have to shut down...then there gos another business downtown...Do you really care ! Dont think so. we have been downtown for OVER 40 years..nothing has changed..You dont think of the businesses downtown, now do you.
