We are a small family run farm, Alpaca Meadows, is the in the business of raising suri alpacas. Indigenous to South America, the alpaca is raised for its fleece. The fleece is sheared once a year, spun into yarn, then knitted, crocheted, woven, and felted into beautiful, luxurious products that are softer and warmer than wool! Alpacas are members of the camelid family. They are mild-tempered, gregarious animals with an inquisitive nature and a penchant for bringing delight to their owners. Come visit our farm and see these interesting creatures called alpacas. Talk to us about the business opportunity available to alpaca owners as well as the lifestyle associated with these animals.
